We would like to say thanks to averyone that stoped by our tent and said hi and picked up some fresh rolled cigars. We hope you enjoyed them and the block party. We had an awsome time and we may even be at furture block partys, you will just have to wait and see.....

In case you missed the cigar rolling event this past weekend, or you just didn’t get enough of it…..We have made arrangements to have a roller back this Saturday at the Alton Block Party, downtown on Third Street. We will have a table where the cigars will be rolled right in front of you and you can smoke them on the spot as they are rolled! Ah…, nothing like a freshly rolled cigar to top off the evening!   We will also be displaying some of our merchandise for any specific cigar needs! Come by and visit us there and take advantage of this very RARE opportunity!

I will save as many fresh cigars as I can for those of you who have to work or have prior arrangements and just can’t make it. Just come by next week to get them (while they last so HURRY!) We hope to see you there.

We are having a cigar roller (of cuban descent) giving "cigar rolling classes" at Cedar Box Cigars (downtown Alton, IL) this weekend  -  starts Saturday , Aug. 23rd at noon!   He will be rolling and teaching all of you to roll, fresh hand rollled cigars you get to smoke!!  
As always, we will have food, drink, and giveaways, too! If you can't make it Saturday, we will have a smaller class on Sunday at noon!

One of the oldest cigar family's  in the buisness today. A Classic and wonderful cigar, come and remember what this cigar is and what it tastes like. OK we got some new lighters and pipes in. Along with some other accessories get them while you can. If all goes will we will be heading to the race track tonight (no rain we hope) sp head on down and see us at the track.

The NUB is here at the Cedar Box. I tried one Wednesday and I have to say WOW!! The picture is of the one i was smoking and we tried to stand it up like in the other pictures as you can see its true. This is a GREAT smoke. Do yourself a favor and get one you will not be disappointed. I tried the Habano wrapper and it's got spice and a little kick to it. I will definitely try another one. But for now my favorite is the Habano.

Available in your choice of: Cameroon - dark and leathery to the touch. A sweet, cedary smoke with an intriguing spice. The aftertaste is dry and toasty. Intense pepper through the nose. A medium to full-bodied cigar that’s toasty and complex, yet smooth. Connecticut - smooth, silky wrapper. Mellow and creamy to start, with a rich, somewhat sweet core. The aftertaste is toasty, but crisp. Toasted cedar through the nose. Medium-bodied with a rich, milky texture. Habano - glossy, milk chocolate-brown wrapper. Rich tobacco core with a smoky aftertaste. Hints of peanuts are supported by a baked bread component. Spice through the nose. Medium to full-bodied with a rich, creamy character throughout.

We are beginning a new cigar club at The Cedar Box !!! It will be once a month meeting club for the cigar connoisseur or the guy wanting to get started in cigars. It's free to get in & food is provided. You will get a FREE cigar for a blind tasting, educational information. Tuesday Night Poker sounds fun uh. It kicks off on Jan 08, 2008 @ 6pm. The cost is $10 at the door and a 1 cigar minimum. As usual it's also BYOB and BYO food. 50% of the cover charge is being donated to 5A's Animal shelter now is that cool or what. So head on down for some fun with your friends at the cedarbox. I will be looking for a smoker of the week from there too :) good luck.
